Carrageenan (E407 & E407a)
A processed seaweed used in food and non-food applications as a versatile hydrocolloid & stabiliser. Refined & semi refined variations of Kappa, Iota & Lambda varieties allow gel &/or viscosity functionality.
Guar Gum (E412) & Xanthan Gum (E415)
Guar is a galactomannan that hydrates rapidly in cold water to attain uniform, high viscosity at low concentrations.
Xanthan is a polysaccharide that provides body, texture & phase stability to food, pet food, cosmetic & pharmaceutical applications.
Alginate (E401 to E405) & Agar (E406)
Alginate & Agar are polysaccharides derived from seaweed. Alginate is used for thickening, stabilising, gelling, film forming, coagulating and emulsifying.
Agar forms heat reversible gels.
Locust Bean Gum (LBG) (E410) & Carob
Derived from the seeds & pods of the Carob tree. LBG is the endosperm of the seed and is a galactomannan used widely in the food industry for thickening and gel forming with carrageenan.
Gums (E413, 414 & 416) & Waxes (E901 & 903)
Gum Arabic/Acacia, Tragacanth & Karaya are all exudate gums used for thickening, emulsifying & stabilising as well as encapsulation, adhesion & binding.
Waxes used for polishing in the food and industrial markets.
Natural Surfactants & Other Products
Natural foaming agents, emulsifiers & surfactants.
